On the other side is Felix Eriksson, 22, back from injury and straight into a reunion with his best friend. "Det kommer bli jättespeciellt. Jag har inte mött honom någon gång, förutom i träning, så det ska bli kul och kommer kännas lite konstigt också," Eriksson said (8) (11). That means it will feel very special, he has never faced Carlstrand outside training, and it will be a bit strange too.
Thychosen: "I take full responsibility"
AIK lost 5–6 at home to IF Brommapojkarna on October 10, and Mads Thychosen did not hide afterwards.
"Jag tror ingen hatar den matchen så mycket som jag gör. Jag tar allt ansvar," the right-back said (6) (10). Nobody hates that game as much as he does, and he takes full responsibility.
He also put his own place in the team on the table: "Det är en fråga för José. Jag fattar om han byter ut mig. Det är inget snack om saken" (10). That one is for José Riveiro to decide, and Thychosen would understand if the coach drops him.
Hove stopped training after a blow to the head
Johan Hove took a knock to the head during Friday's training and skipped the final part of the session (1).
"Vi vill inte chansa," Hove said, meaning they do not want to take a chance with it (1).
With AIK ninth on 33 points from 23 games and a form line of D L D L L, the last thing you need is another body missing.
Ali wants to stay, his contract is running out
Abdihakim Ali has grown into a key piece for AIK this autumn, and his deal expires at the turn of the year (9).
"Om jag stannar i AIK, hade jag varit världens gladaste människa, men grejen med fotboll är att man aldrig vet vad som kommer, vilka chanser man kan få," Ali said (9). If he stays he would be the happiest person in the world, but in football you never know what comes next.
The land is bought, 2028 is the target
AIK have finally bought the land for the new training facility, 15 years after the first letter of intent in 2011 (5).
"Vi känner att det dragit ut onödigt mycket på tiden," club CEO and director Fredrik Söderberg said, meaning it has taken longer than it should have (5).
Moving in is planned for autumn 2028 (5).
AIK push for open transfer books
AIK are one of the clubs pushing to publish transfer details at an individual level, with special clauses written into their deals, as the elite clubs argue over how open Swedish football should be (2).
Mikael Jomer is the name attached to the push (2).
