AIK 1–4 Västerås at home
That is the heaviest news of the week. AIK lost 1–4 to Västerås SK at home, a scoreline nobody saw coming against that opponent (2). It came in the middle of a run that reads W D L D L across the last five, and the home form is now the problem: 3–2 over Hammarby on August 30, then 1–4 to Västerås on September 12 and 1–1 with Mjällby on September 16. AIK sit 8th of 16 with 33 points from 22 games and a goal difference of -3.
Johan, 60, went home a winner anyway
One group of AIK fans left the 1–4 with more money than they arrived with. They won 2.6 million kronor on V85, the Swedish harness racing pool, somewhere in the same trip (2). Johan, 60, summed up the night: "Det blev party ändå" (2).
Brommapojkarna at home next, October 10
AIK's next confirmed fixture is IF Brommapojkarna at home on Saturday, October 10, kick-off 15:00 CEST. A home game against a side below them in the table is the first real chance to stop the slide.
