AIK have an exit clause in Aziz Harabi's contract
AIK can end this one on their own terms. Sporting director Miika Takkula confirmed there is an exit clause written into Aziz Harabi's deal, and the decision to trigger it sits unilaterally with the club (1) (2). Harabi joins from Nordic United ahead of next season (1) (5).
"In the contract it says that if something happens, the decision on how that process is handled is one-sided. We have written in a clause," Takkula said (1) (2).
Takkula: we can break the agreement
Takkula was direct about the thinking behind it. "We have the possibility to break the agreement, and Aziz is on board with that. He understands his background and is ready to take responsibility," he said (1) (5).
