AIK have bid for Linus Alperud
AIK have submitted a formal bid for Lillestrøm SK forward Linus Alperud, and negotiations between the clubs are ongoing (2). Expressen first reported the interest earlier this week (1).
Any deal carries a catch. ÖSK hold a 20 percent sell-on clause, so Lillestrøm's net return shrinks and AIK may need to pay more to get it done (2).
Carlstrand ready for Saturday
Linus Carlstrand wants a starting shirt. The 21-year-old made his debut in the 0–3 loss to Örgryte and now says he is ready to go from the first whistle when AIK face Örgryte again Saturday (3).
Carlstrand recorded 10 goals and 2 assists in 15 appearances for Öster before the move (3).
Fan reactions
The Alperud pursuit has split opinion. Some fans see the Lillestrøm forward as exactly the injection a misfiring attack needs. Others point to the 0–3 Örgryte result and ask whether the real problem is deeper than one signing. The ÖSK sell-on clause is also raising eyebrows, paying a premium for a player another Swedish club will profit from stings. Read the discussion here.
