Derby win at Djurgården
AIK 3–1 Djurgården away on Sunday. Dino Besirovic played right-back and grabbed an assist (4). Four AIK players made the round-17 team of the week: Besirovic, Herve Matthys, Abdihakin Ali and Linus Carlstrand (14). Kevin Filling kept it simple after the win: "Age and size don't matter for us" (18).
Assadi deal moving fast
Lucas Assadi's agent is in Sweden. Chilean journalist Marcelo Díaz says the deal could be done before the Superclásico against Colo Colo, and that Universidad de Chile coach José Riveiro has already spoken to Assadi (11). Manuel Mayo, from the U de Chile side, confirmed the release clause: "If an interested club arrives willing to pay it, the player wants to go and the club can do nothing" (16). The price range is 15 mkr and up, and he would be among AIK's most expensive signings ever (13).
Trabzonspor in for Assadi too
Trabzonspor have bid around 26.5 mkr for 80 percent of Lucas Assadi. Universidad de Chile are holding firm on the release clause at 33 mkr. AIK are working on the deal alongside that interest (2). Club icon Marcos González backs the move: "If he wants to leave, you have to respect it, and for his projection it would suit him to leave U de Chile now" (15).
