Assadi's record deal, but he misses the derby
AIK's record signing Lucas Assadi is not ready for the derby against Hammarby on Sunday. He is still waiting for his work permit (3) (7) (10). AIK confirmed it will not be cleared in time. The derby at home kicks off Sunday at 14:00.
Pinilla takes a shot at AIK
Mauricio Pinilla is not impressed by Assadi's choice. "A small country. A small team. He had quality for a better club," the Chilean said (10). The criticism comes from a fellow Chilean, watching a compatriot move to Sweden.
A centre-back could still arrive
AIK's recruitment chief Miika Takkula is looking at the defensive line before the window closes. "We have six centre-backs on paper, but only two who play," he said (3) (6) (9). A new signing is being discussed.

Kouame in demand from Saudi Arabia
Axel Kouame has interest from Al-Ettifaq, and AIK has turned down a bid (3) (9). Takkula kept it calm: "I'm very happy there is a lot of interest in our players, and Axel is one of the players there is interest in," he said (9).
Harabi arrives in January
AIK have signed left-back Aziz Harabi on a free transfer from Nordic United. He joins 1 January 2027 on a deal through 2030 (1) (4) (5) (11). "Aziz's best qualities are ball handling and game understanding," Takkula said (1). Djurgården were also in for him (11).
A court win, but Zamalek still have not paid
AIK won their dispute in court against Zamalek, but the money for Omar Faraj has not arrived. "It is unclear when Zamalek will bother to pay them," CEO Fredrik Söderberg said (2). The club is still waiting.
