The buyout clause is activated, the contract runs four years, and the deal breaks a 27-year AIK record (6) (12).
What matters is what the deal says about ambition. AIK did not haggle here. They paid the clause and moved, the kind of decisiveness the big clubs in this league trade on. And this is not a 30 million kronor sale disguised as business. AIK rejected Al-Ettifaq's final 30 million bid for Axel Kouame the same week, choosing to keep their midfielder rather than cash in (5) (7) (8). A club that can both pay 24 million and turn down 30 million is operating on a different level than a year ago.

The women lost the top-of-the-table test on Sunday
