Diogo Tomas signs, Carlstrand trains and Örgryte awaits

Diogo Tomas signs, second deal in two days

AIK have signed Finnish centre-back Diogo Tomas for the rest of the season, the club confirmed on Saturday (1). He is your second new arrival in 48 hours. Tomas, 25, comes in as cover for a defence that is stretched thin.

Carlstrand trains, could face Örgryte immediately

Linus Carlstrand completed his first training session at Karlberg and is in contention for Sunday's match against Örgryte IS (4). The new signing is available right away. With the attack firing blanks in the 0–0 draw at Häcken, that matters.

Injury cloud over the Örgryte match

Several players have trained on the side this week ahead of Sunday. José Riveiro was blunt: "Periodisation in football is not coffee with milk for everyone every day" (2). Axel Kouame and Taha Ayari both came off with muscle issues at Häcken and the squad already travelled with seven absentees.

AIK Women riding high in fourth

Anna Oscarsson and AIK Women sit fourth in the Damallsvenskan and face Kristianstads DFF away on Saturday. "Right now we have a really fun table position," Oscarsson said. "We are aggressive" (3).
