Kevin Filling wants to stay
Kevin Filling has made it clear: he is not rushing anywhere. The 17-year-old forward says he wants to extend his contract with AIK and will not be pushed into a move abroad before he is ready. "Jag älskar AIK, så det är klart man vill förlänga," he said (5) (8). Filling reportedly turned down interest from England already, choosing to stay and develop on his own terms (8).
Nana-Kofi Donkor signed, but you have to wait
AIK have completed the signing of Ghanaian winger Nana-Kofi Donkor from FC Dila on a deal running to 2030 (4) (12). The catch: he is not eligible to play until January 1, 2027 (1) (9). A long-term attacking piece, but no help for the current injury crisis.
Alperud negotiations ongoing
AIK have submitted a bid for Linus Alperud, the Lilleström SK winger, and talks between the clubs are underway (2) (3). ÖSK hold a 20 percent sell-on clause from his previous move, which complicates the math slightly (3).
