Adrian Helm and Dino Besirovic are out. Neither can train with the squad right now (2) (3). Helm has a knee problem, Besirovic a hamstring issue, both picked up around the Hammarby derby (2). AIK now list 11 players in rehab, while Eskil Edh, Axel Kouame and Mads Thychosen are back in full training (5).
Assadi is still waiting
Lucas Assadi missed the derby against Hammarby and cannot train with the team yet. The club's record signing is waiting on a Swedish work permit (7) (14). AIK expect clearance on Monday, September 7, the same day you play Malmö FF (7). Coach José Riveiro joked about it: "We've already sold him to Colo Colo" (7) (13).
AIK tried to buy Cardaklija
AIK put in two bids for Anes Cardaklija before landing Sebastian Hausner on deadline day. GAIS turned both down (11).

Filling wants to stay
Kevin Filling, 17, confirmed interest from other clubs but says he wants to remain at AIK. "I want to stay. I've said that. That's what I want," he told Bollklubben (8) (12).
