Kouame and Ayari forced off in the 1–1 draw at Häcken
Two more injuries. Axel Kouame went down early clutching the back of his thigh and had to be replaced by Victor Andersson (4) (6). Then Taha Ayari also signalled to the bench and came off. "I was shocked," Ayari said afterwards (4). The full extent of both injuries is not yet known, but a squad already carrying seven absentees cannot afford to lose either of them (7).
The point on Hisingen
AIK drew 1–1 away to BK Häcken on Monday, a result that keeps your team sixth in the table with 22 points from 14 matches (1) (3). The performance drew praise for the second-half turnaround, with José Riveiro's halftime adjustments singled out as a turning point (3). AIK have now won just once in seven visits to Hisingen, and Häcken remain unbeaten in eight straight meetings since 2021 (14) (15).
Matthys got his first start, on a surface he last played five years ago
Hervé Matthys made his full debut at centre-back and did not hide his feelings about the artificial pitch. "Let's be honest, it was five years since I played on artificial turf," the Belgian said after the match (9). He came through it, and that matters. AIK need him with the backline stretched thin.

Stefan Söderberg has died, aged 82
Stefan Söderberg, AIK's former sporting director and a true club figure, has passed away (2) (10). The team wore black armbands against Häcken, and a minute's silence will be held before Sunday's home match against Örgryte (10). Former AIK title-winner Gary Sundgren called it "incredibly tragic" (2).
Two teenagers on the radar
Musa Malik, a 17-year-old Nigerian winger, is reportedly travelling to Sweden for a trial with AIK (11). This follows the club's recent pattern of scouting young attacking talent under Miika Takkula and José Riveiro.
AIK are also tracking Eze Onuoha, a 17-year-old Finnish midfielder at SJK, but face competition from Djurgården for his signature (12).
Fan reactions
The mood online is split. Plenty of fans are frustrated that AIK's injury list keeps growing, with some questioning the training load and pitch conditions. But there is also genuine appreciation for the second-half performance and the tactical response from Riveiro, several supporters noted the team looked far more organised after the break.
