Otieno dreams of ending his career at AIK

Otieno wants to come home

Eric Otieno opened the door to an AIK return. The former defender, now at Raków, says he would like to end his career in Stockholm. "AIK is home," he told FotbollDirekt (1).

He had reason to smile midweek. Raków beat Hammarby 1–0 in Conference League qualifying, a result Otieno called fair. Raków now face Hajduk Split in the next round (4).

Strannegård on the move

Tom Strannegård left AIK, and now he is close to his next club. Norwegian side Brann are reportedly courting the former AIK talent (3).

The derby is two days out

You are fifth in the table on 25 points, and Sunday means Djurgården away at 14:00. Amel Mujanic is suspended, and Djurgården will be without Miro Tenho. Six of their players were also at risk of suspension heading into this one.

The squad is stretched either way. AIK carried as many as 13 unavailable players into the Örgryte win, with a bench averaging under 20 years old. That is the group heading into the derby.
