Paulson misses one match after red card in Örgryte clash

Paulson gets off light after red card

Daniel Paulson is suspended exactly one match. The Örgryte captain saw red in Saturday's 4–3 thriller, and the disciplinary committee handed him only the automatic ban (3). He misses the weekend's game against Brommapojkarna and returns against Halmstad on August 22 (3).

No Sturehof repeat if Djurgården win Sunday

Djurgården coach Jani Honkavaara has confirmed there will be no Sturehof celebration if they beat your team on Sunday (1). After the 4–2 derby win in May, Djurgården partied there and then lost their next two matches (2). "I'm not so sure how smart that was," Honkavaara said. "We lost the next two fucking matches" (1)(2).

Sunday's derby has extra edge

Djurgården host AIK this Sunday, August 16, at 14:00. Your team comes in 5th on 25 points after the 4–3 comeback win in Örgryte, where 19-year-old Sixten Gustafsson scored his first Allsvenskan goal. Amel Mujanic misses the derby through suspension.
