Ryder Rolston signs for AIK Hockey
AIK have landed American forward Ryder Rolston, 24. Sport director Lasse Johansson confirmed the signing: "He is a strong skater who works hard across the entire ice and likes to use his shot" (1). Rolston arrives as a top-line forward to sharpen the attack.
The injury crisis is under internal review
AIK are investigating why so many players are sidelined. Recruitment chief Miika Takkula is leading the review into the club's medical and performance protocols. "We have to examine why we have so many injured players," he said (2). The football side has nine out, but the probe spans the whole organisation.
A reminder on the football front
Riveiro's side lost 0–3 at home to Örgryte on Sunday and travel to face them again on Saturday. The derby at Djurgården follows on August 16.
