Five games, one win, and the table is closing in
All Boys are 16th of 18 in Zona A on 33 points from 32 games, goal difference -10, and the form line reads W L D D L (3). That is not a rough patch. It is a month without a win.
Look at what the last five actually were. The only victory came away at Acassuso, 0–1, on September 5 (3). Then a home defeat to San Telmo, 0–1, a 1–1 at San Miguel, a 0–0 against Colón (Santa Fe), and a 2–1 loss at Deportivo Morón on October 3 (3). Four points from five matches.
The home record is the part that stings. Two of the last three at the Islas Malvinas ended 0–1 and 0–0. Supporters have watched one goal in three home games.

The attack has stopped scoring, and nobody is hiding it
Two goals in five games is not bad luck. It is a side that has stopped converting what it creates.
The 0–0 against Colón is the clearest picture of it. A point at home, no goals, against a team All Boys needed to beat to pull off the bottom of the group (3). When a team in 16th draws blanks in the games it has to win, the position stops being an accident.
You can talk about the defence all you like. Losing 2–1 at Morón on October 3 was the fourth straight game without a win (3). But the fix is at the other end. Score once early and that Morón night looks completely different.
Godoy Cruz at home, and it is the biggest night of the season
All Boys host Godoy Cruz de Mendoza at the Islas Malvinas on Monday, October 12, at 19:00 local time, for Fecha 33 of Zona A. Nicolás Lamolina takes the whistle (3).
This is the fixture the whole group has been circling. A home game, a direct rival, and a squad that has not won in front of its own crowd since September 5. If there is a night to break the run, it is this one.
Tickets for members are on sale at $20,000 in the Popular, with the September membership fee paid up (3). A full Popular on a Monday night is worth a goal on its own.
What to watch
Monday first. Godoy Cruz at the Islas Malvinas, 19:00, Lamolina in charge (3), then Los Andes away on Saturday, October 17, at 22:00.
All Boys are 16th. There is very little room left below them (3). The home crowd gets one more look at whether this attack can score before the trip to Los Andes. That is the test.
