Sporting director Max Eberl could be heading for the exit (1). For a club that just wrapped up a historic double, losing the architect of the squad right now would be a massive blow. Summer schedule set
Vincent Kompany has called the squad back for July 20 to begin preseason preparations (2). Players not involved in the World Cup will get individual fitness plans to follow during their break. Former sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić has confirmed what everyone suspected: Manuel Neuer and Alexander Nübel never got on (3). "Interpersonally, it never clicked between the two of them.
