New kit nods to the 1967 Lions
Celtic dropped a special-edition shirt on Thursday, marking 60 years since the European Cup triumph in Lisbon (1). The design draws on the Jamor, the stadium where Jock Stein's men beat Inter 2–1 and became the first British side to lift the trophy. The jersey itself is a throwback to that day. Clean lines, no sponsor, a nod to the strip worn by the Lisbon Lions. It lands as the club leans into its biggest story ahead of the anniversary year.
Sutton says spend £50m to stay top
Chris Sutton does not think tinkering will be enough. The former striker believes Celtic need more than £50m of business this summer to hold the title and compete in the Champions League (2). He framed it bluntly: a full squad overhaul, not just a couple of additions.
