Boehly and Walter move toward selling their Chelsea stake
Todd Boehly and Mark Walter are in talks to sell their shares in Chelsea to Clearlake Capital (1) (6). Walter controls 12.7% via BlueCo. The talks have been explored at various times over the past two years, and the club is now being valued at close to £5bn (4) (7).

Chelsea 3–1 Real Sociedad at Stamford Bridge in the final pre-season friendly (2). Joao Pedro scored twice and looked ready for the season. Enzo Fernandez got a mixed reception from some sections of the crowd (2).
