Cucurella gone, and he's not hiding how fast it moved
Marc Cucurella is a Real Madrid player. The deal is done, roughly £52m (2) (5). He did not dance around it. "It all happened in roughly a day and a half," Cucurella said. "When Real come for you it's very difficult to say no" (5). He also spoke to José Mourinho before signing. "I had no doubts. It is a big step for me, very important in my career" (2) (8) (9). That is a starting left-back walking out the door, and he made it sound like the easiest decision of his life.
Enzo Fernandez could be next
This is the one that stings more. Enzo Fernandez has reportedly agreed personal terms with Real Madrid (3) (7). After a strong 2025–26 campaign, Xabi Alonso had no intention of letting him leave, but Madrid's pull is real. Chelsea finished 10th and missed Europe, that context matters when players get a call from the Bernabéu.

Fan-reaktioner
