Mudryk could head to Coventry on loan
Frank Lampard wants Mykhailo Mudryk at Coventry City. The Championship side are exploring a loan deal for the Chelsea winger, with former Blues man Mick Brown telling Football Insider it "would make a lot of sense" (1). Lampard's Chelsea connections are the obvious pull here. Mudryk only just returned from his doping ban and got his first minutes since November 2024 during pre-season.
Chelsea tracking Swedish striker Ure
Chelsea are among a group of clubs watching IK Sirius striker Robbie Ure. The 15-goal Allsvenskan forward is also on Manchester City's radar (2). No bid yet, just interest at this stage.
Two academy loans incoming
Two Chelsea youngsters will head out on their first senior loans this summer, per Nizaar Kinsella (3). Portsmouth are already confident of landing 17-year-old winger Ryan Kavuma-McQueen on a temporary deal, though the player will decide after the pre-season tour wraps up.

Chelsea could bring in another centre-back, but only if four outbound deals are completed first, claims an insider (4). Xabi Alonso has flagged defensive issues across pre-season, and that 1–0 loss to Juventus in Hong Kong did not change the picture.
