Gakpo's exit talks are reignited
Cody Gakpo's situation is back in the news days before the Premier League starts, with transfer talks for an exit reignited (3). This lands right after Liverpool beat Como 2–0, with Gakpo scoring and Frimpong assisting, so it is awkward timing for any fan hoping he stays put.

Barcola, Endrick and life after Jones
The rumour mill is spinning fast. Liverpool have agreed a $41M deal amid links to PSG winger Bradley Barcola, with Arsenal reportedly able to join the race (1). There is also talk of a €65M offer for Real Madrid forward Endrick (4). If Jones goes, three names are being floated as midfield replacements, including a $116M star (2).
