Jacquet is yours, £60m, done deal
Jeremy Jacquet is a Liverpool player. The 20-year-old French centre-back has joined from Rennes for £60m (1), a fee that makes him the biggest sale in Rennes' history (8). Other outlets report the figure at €65m to €72m (6) (9).
The club confirmed the deal Wednesday. Iraola has his first major signing of the summer (12).

"I'm really excited to line up alongside a great player like him. I think he's up there with the best centre-backs in the world currently, so I can only learn from him," he told the club's website (2).
He joins a centre-back group that includes Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez, Victor Munoz, Giovanni Leoni, and Anthony Rouault (2). Van Dijk has a new long-term partner.
