Nascimento loaned to Rio Ave
Diogo Nascimento is heading to Portugal. Rio Ave announced Wednesday they have reached an agreement with Olympiacos for the midfielder on a loan deal through the end of the 2026/27 season (1).

Marinakis pushes back on EPO over Super League presidency
Vangelis Marinakis is not staying quiet. The Olympiacos owner says he accepted a 1+1 year leadership arrangement for the Super League presidency, but only to protect the league from outside interference (2).
"I will not let the Super League be tarnished and stigmatized by an EPO coup, so I will only accept for this reason," Marinakis said (2).
The comments signal a tense standoff between the league and the Greek football federation over who controls the domestic game.
