Maffeo lands in Athens, deal done
Pablo Maffeo is in Athens. The right-back arrived Wednesday and has already been photographed in the Olympiacos shirt (1). The announcement is a formality now. Maffeo, 28, joins from Mallorca and gives Bartzokas a proven option on the right side of defence ahead of the title defence.
Biancone heading to Anderlecht for €3 million
Giulian Biancone is on his way out. Anderlecht are close to sealing a €3 million deal for the defender (2). The Frenchman joined Olympiacos in 2024 but struggled for a regular starting role. The move frees up a squad spot and brings in a modest fee as the summer rebuild begins.
Four signings, €22 million to spend
Kostas Nikolakopoulos laid out the math on the Galacticos show: Olympiacos have roughly €22 million to make four signings this window (3). That works out to about €5.5 million per player, a clear signal the club is hunting value rather than one marquee name. With Maffeo already through the door and Biancone leaving, three more moves could follow.
