Torino make approach for Strefezza
Torino have made contact with Olympiacos over a potential move for Gabriel Strefezza (1). The Italian club are exploring a deal for the winger as they look to strengthen their attack this summer. No agreement is in place yet, but talks are underway.
This one is worth watching. Mendilibar is already reshaping the squad, Maffeo looks set to arrive at right-back, a Spanish midfielder remains on the radar, and an attacking winger with pace is on the shopping list. If Strefezza leaves, that winger search becomes urgent.
Hwang named MVP in South Korea comeback
Former Olympiacos midfielder Hwang was named MVP as South Korea came from behind to beat Czechia 2–1 at the 2026 World Cup (4). The ex-Thrylos man pulled the strings in midfield, driving the Asian side's turnaround on the biggest stage.
Always good to see a former player shine on a stage like that.
