Vrousai and Mista linked with Olympiacos return
Portuguese outlet A Bola have linked Marios Vrousai and Polish goalkeeper Cezary Mista with a move to Olympiacos from Rio Ave (2). Both players are under contract until June 2027 and are preparing for their fourth season at the Portuguese club, unless Olympiacos come calling (2).
Evangelos Marinakis is the majority shareholder of both clubs, which makes the pipeline logical. Gazzetta followed up by confirming the Vrousai comeback story, noting it could happen alongside a move for Mafeo (4). Vrousai, a Greek defender, came through the Olympiacos system before. A return would be a homecoming.
