Hatzidiakos medical Thursday, deal agreed
Pantelis Hatzidiakos is flying in for his medical today. PAOK have reached an agreement with FC Copenhagen, and the defender is due in Greece on Thursday to finalize the move (4) (5). The deal is close, only the formalities remain.
Taha Ali is officially yours
Taha Ali is a PAOK player. The Swedish winger has been presented after completing his move from Malmö FF (2). No details on the fee, but the club moved fast to get this one wrapped up.
Ali: I want to live the title fight
Taha Ali did not hold back in his first interview. "I am very happy. I am glad everything was completed and now I am ready to start," he said (3). The 25-year-old pointed to one reason above all for choosing PAOK: "PAOK always competes for titles and that is what I want to experience" (3).
Squad reshaping picks up speed
Hatzidiakos and Ali are the latest pieces of a busy summer. Jorge Sánchez is headed to Atlas, Joan Sastre is expected at APOEL, and Baptiste Santamaría has already signed through 2027. Giorgos Giakoumakis is gone after his loan ended. LiSi is rebuilding, and the backline is getting a full overhaul.
