Lucescu pushing for Besiktas move
Razvan Lucescu is reportedly trying to convince PAOK to release him so he can join Besiktas (4). The Romanian manager, who led your club to multiple titles, appears to have his sights set on Turkey. This is not a done deal yet, he needs the club to let him go. Losing your manager at this stage of the project would be a massive blow, especially after finishing third and with squad rebuilding already on the horizon.

A revealing interview with former PAOK sporting director José Boto is making the rounds among fans, where he admitted Viktor Gyökeres was positive about joining the club during his Coventry days. Boto called him the one Greek-league player he would take without hesitation. The what-might-have-been stings, but it also paints a picture of the kind of scouting ambition the club had, and maybe still needs.
