Ozdoev bids farewell to PAOK after 141 appearances

Ozdoev says goodbye after three years at PAOK

Magomed Ozdoev is leaving. The Russian midfielder posted a farewell message on Monday, confirming his departure from PAOK (1). "Today is the day to say goodbye," Ozdoev wrote. "I want to say a huge thank you to all the wonderful PAOK fans for the support they showed me during my time at the club. It was something incredible, that cannot be described in words" (1).

He made 141 appearances for your club.

Ozdoev thanked club president Ivan Savvidis by name, alongside the coaching staff, teammates, administration, and medical team (1). He finished the message: "I wish PAOK great victories and good luck in everything" (1).

PAOK respond with a tribute of their own

The club did not wait long. PAOK posted a reply later the same day: "Thank you Magomed! It was our joy too to walk three years together. Thank you Mago for your contribution and the intense moments we lived together. We wish you all the best" (2).

It is a warm, classy goodbye from both sides. No drama, just respect after half a decade of service.

Fan reactions

The subreddit is buzzing, but not about Ozdoev. The big talking point is Omiros Omoirou, or Omorougi, as fans spell it, reportedly extending his contract after coach Trinkieri gave the green light. Check the thread here.
