PAOK basketball returns to the EuroCup after 10 years
Your basketball team is back in the EuroCup after a decade away. General manager Giorgos Tsiaras did not hide the satisfaction: "We are very happy to have returned to the EuroCup this season, as it remains an extremely competitive competition" (1). He credited the owner and Andrea Trinchieri for driving the organisation forward: "Our organisation is getting better and better. We are truly happy to be back and will prepare to show up strong" (1).
Lisi: "Proud to have come to PAOK"
Alessio Lisi is officially your new manager. The Italian replaces Razvan Lucescu and did not downplay the moment: "Proud to have come to PAOK" (2). He takes over a squad in preseason, training in the Netherlands, with the Pavlos Giannakopoulos tournament against Partizan on the horizon. Lisi has been working the squad hard and reportedly wants Sporting Lisbon midfielder Kotsorashvili on loan, a player he knows well.
