Nagalo sold to Çorum FK, PSV take the loss
Adamo Nagalo is gone. PSV have reached an agreement with Turkish Süper Lig side Çorum FK for the defender, bringing in around €2.5–3m (1) (2). That is a loss on what the club paid FC Nordsjaelland for him. Technical director Earnest Stewart finalised the deal, and Nagalo heads to Turkey after a brief and forgettable spell in Eindhoven (1).
A centre-back vacancy opens up
With Nagalo out the door and Armando Obispo also on his way to RC Lens, your backline has two holes to fill (7). Rayane Bounida and Ramiz Zerrouki remain in the picture, but PSV now need at least one new central defender before the window shuts. The squad is thinning at a position where Bosz already had questions.
Hugo Bueno offered as left-back option
PSV are looking for a left-back and a familiar Eredivisie face has been put forward. Hugo Bueno, formerly of Feyenoord and currently at Wolves, has been offered to the club (4) (5). PSV have a long list of names at the position and no decision has been made yet (5). Bueno is one to watch, not one to bank on.
Elfrink: leaked transfer names hurt PSV
Club watcher Rik Elfrink fired a warning at supporters who enjoy seeing transfer targets leaked in the media. "As a PSV supporter, you should not be happy about it at all," he said (6). His point: when names go public, rival clubs move faster and asking prices climb. The transparency some fans celebrate is, in his view, a competitive disadvantage.
