Kostic let Hadj Moussa walk into the box
Marciano Vink did not hold back on the equaliser. Filip Kostic backed off and let Anis Hadj Moussa dribble into the area before he shot the 1–1 (8) (9).
"Eigenlijk vind ik dat Kostic hier een assist mag bijschrijven," Vink said on ESPN. He called the defending far too passive (9).
Hadj Moussa had already been the difference once. The second half was his (3) (5).
Til: PSV are still the best
Guus Til is not panicking. "PSV is nog steeds de beste," the goalscorer said after the draw (7).
He sees no reason to fear for the title despite the dropped points (7).
The chasing pack closed in
AZ 0–2 FC Twente at the AFAS Stadion on Sunday. Sondre Orjasaeter and Lucas Vennegoor of Hesselink got the goals (10) (11).
AZ and FC Twente are both on 20 points now, level with you (11) (12). Third place is a crowd.
"Het was een chaotische wedstrijd," Twente said afterwards (13).
Bosz and Van Bronckhorst called it a topper
Both coaches went into the match expecting Champions League level (1). Peter Bosz and Giovanni van Bronckhorst had seen enough of each other in Europe this season to say so (1).
A 1–1 draw makes that framing look generous.
Willem II up next
Willem II at home on Saturday, October 31, 18:45 CET. Then Club Brugge in the Champions League on Wednesday, November 4 (fixtures).
Four points is not a crisis. Saturday is where you start closing it.
Fan reactions
The Dutch football corner of Reddit was not talking about the goals as much as the aftermath. Fans flagged a clash between Lutsharel Geertruida and Jeremiah St. Juste once the final whistle went. The mood around the result itself is frustration at two points left on the table. Thread
