ADO Den Haag away is next
Saturday, 16:30, away at ADO Den Haag. That is the fixture in front of you, and it is the one that matters most right now (3).
You sit second in the Eredivisie on 19 points from 8 games, goal difference +16. The form line reads D W L W L. That last L was the trip to Leipzig.
Then it gets serious quickly. Porto away in the Champions League on Tuesday, Feyenoord at home on Sunday October 25 (1).

Leipzig 1–0, and it hurt
You lost 1–0 away at RB Leipzig on Tuesday in the Champions League. Björn van der Doelen was clear that there was more in it for PSV than a defeat (2).
The wider Dutch read on that night agrees. PSV had enough to take a result from Leipzig (10).
So the group picture is not a disaster, but the points are gone.
Porto away is the real test
After ADO Den Haag, Peter Bosz takes the squad to Portugal to face FC Porto on Tuesday at 21:00 (1).
That is a Champions League away night, and the Dutch angle on it is blunt: getting a win on the board quickly matters (1).
Van Bommel tipped for England
Ruben van Bommel is being linked with a move to England next season. That call comes from Van der Doelen on the Skiete Willy Podcast, despite the serious injury the PSV attacker has been through (6).
He said it plainly: "Ik denk dat Van Bommel volgend seizoen in Engeland speelt" (6) (8).
Nothing confirmed, no club named, just a strong prediction from someone who watches this squad closely.
Heerenveen win did not convince
You beat Heerenveen 2–0 at home on Friday October 9. The scoreline was fine. The performance was not.
Marco Timmer and Björn van der Doelen were both unimpressed on the Skiete Willy Podcast. Timmer: "Ik schrok wel een beetje van PSV" (5).
Bosz called it an incident. That is his read, and the next two weeks will test it (5).
Babadi is flying at Sparta
Isaac Babadi is developing fast on loan at Sparta Rotterdam. Bosz had no place for him in the squad, so he went out to play every week (4).
The verdict from Sparta is simple: now that he plays every week, he is improving quickly (4).
Worth keeping an eye on, because that is your player.
Cissè scored a hat-trick for Milan
Alphadjo Cissè hit a hat-trick for AC Milan in a 4–0 Europa League win away at RB Salzburg (7) (9).
Cissè was a PSV target before Milan took him (7). That is three European goals in one night for a player who could have been yours.
