Mijnans to PSV is happening
Sven Mijnans is on his way. AZ held their captain out of Saturday's friendly against Lommel, and the reason is simple: a transfer to PSV is close (1) (3) (4). The deal is not done yet, but both clubs are pushing for an agreement this weekend (4). AZ want 15 to 20 million euros (4).
You nearly had him last summer. Mijnans chose to extend at AZ then, but PSV stayed on him. Now the 25-year-old midfielder is finally coming.

Bosz walks out of NOS interview over Oranje question
Peter Bosz is done with the Netherlands job talk. An NOS reporter pushed him on Oranje after a pre-season friendly, and Bosz snapped: "You go on..." before walking away (2) (5) (10). He later clarified: "I haven't said the door is closed, but right now I'm coach of PSV, period" (5).
Ibrahim Afellay weighed in too. The former PSV man does not think Bosz has shut the Oranje door completely: "He can tackle anything, really" (12).
And then there is the Hiddink proposal. Guus Hiddink floated a scenario where Bosz takes the national team and Arne Slot slides into PSV (13). Pure talk-radio fodder for now, but it is out there.
Mauro stays, Fenerbahçe did not push
Mauro Júnior is not going anywhere, at least not yet. Fenerbahçe had interest but did not follow through with a concrete push (6). The Brazilian remains a PSV player for the time being.
Driouech wants more minutes, at PSV or elsewhere
Couhaib Driouech is not hiding his ambition. "Of course I want to make a step for more minutes, but if it's at PSV: gladly," he said (9). The winger wants a bigger role. If Bosz cannot guarantee it, a move becomes a real possibility.
Saibari injured at the World Cup
Ismael Saibari went down. The former PSV midfielder, now at Bayern Munich, suffered an injury during Morocco's round of 16 match against Canada on Saturday (11) (15). No details yet on the severity.
Bosz, speaking before the injury, called Saibari "the example" of what PSV's development path can produce: "He shows you don't always have to leave at eighteen" (8) (14).
