Botafogo hit with new transfer ban over Jordan Barrera debt
Botafogo have been slapped with a fresh transfer ban by FIFA. The Brazilian club owe Junior Barranquilla money for Colombian winger Jordan Barrera, and FIFA has now blocked them from registering new players (1). This is the second such ban for Botafogo in a year.
Jordan Bos clocked as the fastest at this World Cup
Australia's Jordan Bos has been recorded as the quickest player at the 2026 World Cup so far. The Feyenoord left-back hit a top speed of 36.8 km/h, a mark Spanish outlet Marca says draws comparisons to Gareth Bale (2). No one has gone faster at the tournament.
