Yorke: Bouaddi is Mbappe-level
Dwight Yorke has seen enough. The former Manchester United striker put Ayyoub Bouaddi in elite company, calling your midfielder "the midfield equivalent of Kylian Mbappe" (1). Yorke watched him closely at the World Cup, especially against Brazil. "He is young. He is a real project. I would spend money on Bouaddi because he has the potential to be the best in the world" (1). That is a £100m endorsement from a Champions League winner.
World Cup raised the price, Liverpool may step back
Bouaddi's World Cup has done exactly what you would expect, it drove the price up. Liverpool journalist David Lynch says the club admired him before the tournament, but his performances have pushed the fee into territory Manchester City are more comfortable paying (2).
