Moyes a long-term Scotland target, but stopgap needed first
David Moyes remains the long-term target for the Scotland job, but the timing is not right. Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness told Football Insider that the 63-year-old is more likely to arrive after "the next four or five-year cycle" rather than stepping in now to succeed Steve Clarke (1). That leaves the Scottish FA needing a stopgap, with Neil McCann and Steven Naismith among names in the frame. Moyes is not expected to leave Goodison Park this summer.
