Jayden Adams dies at 25, Bafana Bafana in mourning

Jayden Adams, the South Africa international who featured at the 2026 World Cup, has died at the age of 25. His partner paid tribute on Saturday: "Une partie de mon cœur est partie avec toi", a part of my heart has gone with you (1). Adams was part of Bafana Bafana's historic campaign that saw the team reach the knockout stages for the first time, before falling 1–0 to Canada in the round of 32. No cause of death has been made public.
