Salah to Besiktas collapsed over agent commission, says Adali
Besiktas president Serdal Adali says Mohamed Salah's move to the club collapsed because agent Ramy Abbas pushed his commission to "unbelievable figures, reaching about 35%" during negotiations (1). Adali confirmed talks took place and that Besiktas ultimately walked away from a deal many fans hoped would define the summer. Salah, now a free agent after leaving Liverpool, will not be coming to Istanbul, and Adali's comments make clear the agent's demands were the breaking point.
