Türkiye's World Cup knockout path takes shape

Your path out of Group D

Türkiye have a genuine shot at the knockout rounds, and the bracket is starting to take shape. If you win Group D, your last-16 opponent comes from Group C – likely USA, Paraguay, Australia, Canada, or Bosnia-Herzegovina. That is a very winnable matchup. Finish second, and things get harder: you would face the Group B winner, which could be Belgium, Spain, or a dangerous Egypt side. Either way, the deeper you go, the bigger the tests. A quarter-final could see Ivory Coast, Sweden, Norway, Senegal, or Algeria waiting from Group F. (1)

The dream route vs. the hard road

The difference between topping the group and coming second is stark. As group winners, your round-of-16 path avoids the heavy hitters. As runners-up, Belgium – with Kevin De Bruyne still pulling strings – or Spain could be waiting right away. Vincenzo Montella's side, built around Arda Güler's creativity, has the tools to navigate the kinder path. But that means taking care of business in the group stage and leaving nothing to chance.
